Jennifer | Trash the Dress
Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 11:02PM Jennifer and Brian fell in love when she was just 14. Unlike many other “young love’s” that fade away after a time, theirs continued to blossom until they got married six years later. After a few years Jennifer and Brian, like many couples, had a child, a son. Then, this past March, Brian passed away in a tragic accident. They had planned to renew their vows at their 10 year reunion and Jennifer had hoped to one day pass her beautiful gown on to a daughter, but now, as you can see, that would never be possible. Jennifer wanted to do something fun in order to preserve her memories in her gown, instead of just letting it sit in the box. This is when she contacted me and I am so excited to share these images with you.
This session has touched me like none other before. Last night I laid in bed not able to sleep because I was so excited and nervous to have this session. I wanted it to be everything Jennifer wanted, and more.
Jennifer was absolutely gorgeous today, and each time someone said, “Congrats!” my heart broke because they did not know the real reason for the session, but she smiled and said “thank-you” each time. She is an incredible woman who has endured an incredible loss.
