Little Miss A* | Richmond Virginia Newborn & Family Photographer

Because I had already had a maternity session with this family, I was so excited to see them again for their newborn session with the newest member of their family.  We were really hoping for some images of a sleeping baby, and after 2hours of unsuccessfully trying, her Daddy came home from work and put her right to sleep.  It's like when you try and try to open the pickle jar and give it to someone else and they immediately open it, of course you loosened it up for them, right?  We'll just say that we did a lot of rocking, cuddling, and bottles before her Daddy came home, but I think we were glad that he was able to get her to sleep!

Mandy & Hunter | Richmond Virginia Engagement Photographer

Mandy & I have known each other for a few years, but we met up again this past September when we both were asked to be judges for a local beauty pageant that we had both entered in at one time.  I was so excited to meet her fiance and do engagement portraits for them!

K* Family | Richmond Family Photographer

Remember when I hosted a giveaway that included a free family portrait session & a complimentary 8x10 print?  This is the family that won!  I had already had a session with the family they nominated here.   A lot of times I do not meet clients until we get to the session, so it's always a little bit of a surprise for me.  We decided to have the session at Crump Park, which is always a good choice because it has a lot of grounds to cover.

For those of you who didn't win the giveaway, be on the lookout because there will be another one soon!

Briana | Richmond Virginia Senior Portrait Photographer

Briana is a senior at Thomas Dale, which the same school my husband graduated from! (Even after a year it still feels weird saying, "husband!")  We had her session around the Virginia State Capitol Building.  Ahh, I love Richmond.  Parts of Richmond remind me of my days in DC, except I get to drive instead of walk everywhere!  The city background is perfect for portraits.  She nailed every. single. shot.  A photographer's dream!

Fallyn & Joel | Virginia Maternity Photographer

I enjoyed a nice trip to my parents house yesterday followed by the cute babywiththebiggestblueeyes session in the last post, and then was able to meet up with Fallyn & Joel for their maternity session.  Fallyn is gorgeous so I knew it was going to be a good session!  They are one of the cutest couples and are going to be great parents! I could have posted every . single . picture from this session because I loved them all, but I want some element of surprise for them when they get the CD!
