Giveaway winner #1 { J* Family

Remember about a month ago when I was hosting the giveaway and the winner would receive a free session AND a free 8x10?  This is the family that was nominated!  The family that nominated them are having a session in a few weeks.  The J* Family is so cute! With 3 dogs & a little boy, they sure stay busy.

Here are a few of my favorites from that session:

Holiday Portrait Session! { Richmond Virginia Pet Photographer

I will be honest and say I was a little nervous before yesterday's session because it was..
My first time having a "dog-only" session..not just 1.. but 4!
& My first time shooting in a cemetery. (Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond is SUPER cute by the way)

In the past month I have been able to add "Belly Dance Photographer" and "Pet Photographer" to my belt.  I have shot a few sessions where pets were included, but never a session all about them.  Needless to say it was a GREAT day and the humans were pretty fun to hang out with too.

Aren't they darling in their Halloween costumes below? We all had a good laugh out of looking at them in their costumes..so cute! They are even getting customized holiday card template made!

This little guy below stole my heart..he was so precious! This is one of two foster dogs that this family keeps. I will post his link when I get it!

Little Miss B* { Richmond Virginia Childrens Photographer

This is the third time this year I have had the pleasure of photographing this family.  This time, little Miss B* needed portraits to celebrate her 2nd birthday!  Her big brown eyes will just melt your heart, and she will definitely let you know what is on her mind!  This family is so precious and not to mentioned so well behaved- it was a joy working with them again!

Adding a new title

I met with Erin this morning (yes, I had the session this morning and photos are already edited, uploaded, and ready to send off on Monday morning!) and I was pretty excited and a little nervous since this would be my first time shooting a belly dancer.

Belly dancing reminds me of Boudoir Photography.  (There will be another boudoir marathon next month.. details soon!) Both belly dancing and Boudoir photography is all about loving your body, but more importantly loving your self.  I was honored to be a part of the process this morning and excited that I may even be able to call myself a "Belly Dance Photographer" now.

Erin was a JOY to work with and even teaches Belly dancing!  Please visit Cattleya Tribal Bellydance if you are interested!
