January Boudoir Details

Do you have a man that is incredibly hard to shop for?  Boudoir is THE PERFECT GIFT!  Whether it's for Valentine's Day, his birthday, your wedding anniversary, or just because, imagine his face as he opens a beautifully crafted leather album with the pages filled nothing but you. He deserves this, but more importantly, YOU deserve this.  Whether you're just celebrating who you are at this exact moment or creating the perfect gift for a special occasion, boudoir photography is perfect for you.

I know I have already stated that the next boudoir marathon will be in January here in Richmond, but I have finalized the details for the packages.  I have a new and amazing album vendor and wanted to include that in this upcoming marathon.  I also want to focus time and energy on quality not quantity of images. These images will be the best you've ever seen of yourself!

The date is TBD (within the next couple of weeks) but will be within the first three weekends of January.  If you KNOW that you want to book a session let me know if any of those weekends do NOTwork.  Full session fees must be paid to reserve your time slot and if you have to cancel, it can be used towards a future boudoir session.

One Hot Mama | Ricmond Virginia Boudoir Photographer

I love love LOVE boudoir sessions! Most women walk in with butterflies, but they always walk out feeling like they've conquered the world.  Ms. R* booked a private (non-marathon) session and I am in love with these images and so happy to be able to share a few of my favorites with you.  If the day ever comes that I have a studio, in the boudoir dressing room, there will definitely be at least one of these images showcased.  It was a really fun session that combined being fierce, classy, flirty all into one.

This is another gorgeous client from my October marathon.  She may look like another client that was featured in the boudoir blog yesterday.  That's right! Mom, Daughter & Daughter's best friend drove almost 2 hours for three early-morning time slots for the marathon!  It's really neat that they were able to make this memory together, for the fabulous men in their lives.

Eyes. I loveee eyes.  They tell a story. I spend a lot of time at boudoir sessions focusing on the eyes and the face.  And there is something to be said about the girl who can pull off the staring-at-the-camera-perfectly-pouty-very-sexy look.  I for one, cannot.  I have tried it..many times, and end up looking like i'm confused.  Here is one beautiful lady who has mastered "that look."

Some people have the terribly WRONG impression that you have to be a certain "type" of person to do boudoir photography. That you have to be younger than you are, and a size that is completely opposite of your own.  Boudoir photography is about being comfortable with who you are at this exact moment, and celebrating what you've become.  Whether the session is for that special someone or for yourself, they are so. much. fun.   I was so excited when I found out this next lady wanted to do a session.  Her, her daughter, and her daughter's best friend filled up the 2nd day slots of the October boudoir marathon.  I have to say, this client rocked the session!  She said it was on her "list of things to do" and I am glad she was able to check if off the list after this session!
